and Diane Whitney, so happy to have grown up as Ukiahans, fled
the area, and returned to assure Carol Guntly (happy, but a little
suspicious) that Ukiah is a very fine place to be (take the word
of Dan Ayckroyd in the movie "Dragnet"). I might as
well take this opportunity to stress that the tall strawberry
blonde on the left is CINDY CLELAND -- not Janie Cleland, not
Cindy Cleveland, not me, the webmistress. At the 1983 reunion
I, Jane Cleveland (not pictured above), received a certificate
lettered "Janie Cleland Haug - Least Changed Female."
So, Cindy, I accepted the honor on our morphed joint behalf and
for the twins Stater, Freeman, Severson, Idica, and the 2 Lynn(e)
