The 25th Class Reunion at Lake Mendocino, July 2, 1988. And then we were 42/43.
PANEL 1: I think Cheryl Orme is a telecommuter and is gradually moving back towards Ukiah from Pasadena. She's made it to Windsor so far. Bob Bernard is an administrator with the FAA and is gradually moving away from Ukiah. He's made it to Washington DC and Spain so far. Noelle Tamborini creates fantastic quilted ensembles and wins prizes for her efforts (check the link from her name in the alphabetical list). She also has begun to migrate back to Northern California, making it to Fair Oaks.
PANEL 2: Randy Seward, former Viet Nam helicopter pilot, former Colorado liquor store owner, and he may now be practicing veterinary medicine in New Jersey -- either that or playing Joe Scarborough's body double on MSNBC. Marilyn Meyer is a grammar school teacher on the Oregon Coast. When Marilyn was a grammar school student herself, her teacher (Mr Tharp?) told her if she kept holding her school books so close to her face, she would need glasses. When we later found out about cause and effect, we may have accepted that she held the books close because she needed glasses.
PANEL 3: Noelle Tamborini again (I will now impart this little-known factoid: in 1965, or so, Noelle and I were finalists for Mademoiselle magazine's college issue guest editorial staff. We independently quit while we were ahead and didn't pursue the final finals. Ah, what might have been...). Jim "Jeep" Schmitz has coached and judged Olympic weight lifting and owns a gym in San Francisco. He's lifting Noelle and Jane 2 inches off the ground in this picture! And there's Jane Cleveland. She's lived in San Francisco since the Summer of Love and has appointed herself guest editor of her own domain. (captioned Spring 2003 -- jmc)
